This month MGGB took over the entire lobby of the Iron Horse Hotel! Not just the bar, but the library as well, and we spilled out into the lobby and lounge areas as well!

Our invitation read as follows:

"REV UP YOUR ENGINES and join us TONIGHT at BRANDED, the Iron Horse Hotel Bar, for off-the-map mixology and awesome ambience like you haven't seen before in Milwaukee!

Iron Horse is having a "75th Anniversary Repeal Prohibiton" party tonight. Little do they know that MGGB is crashing their party!

They will have a DJ remixing Big Band sounds of the 1930s as well as shuttles to Great Lakes Distillery for FREE TOURS until midnight. (Great Lakes is the distillery of Rehorst Gin & Vodka...hopefully there be free samples on this tour!) Lakefront Brewery has also made a special Iron Horse Prohibition Ale that should be on tap tonight."

Attendance at the Takeover: about 225 queers and friends
(great turnout for a bitter cold night with snow, and many having to park blocks away!)

After we stormed the Iron Horse, many of you joined us at GINGER where your MGGB sticker got you a free shot and some sweet DJ vibes, courtesy of Politburo member Jorge!! GINGER is located in the former Barossa / Dish / Phoenix space, which was an LGBT venue for almost three decades, so it was great for many of us to see the space again.
