SPECIAL 1st ANNIVERSARY Party Night! This month's theme was Party Party, to celebrate MGGB's 1st anniversary of bar takeovers in Milwaukee! The party started at "Have A Nice Day Cafe" dance bar in downtown Milwaukee, and continued with a dance party at La Cage.

Our invitation read as follows:

"For our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY we are storming the hallowed halls of Milwaukee's straight dance culture and starting a revolution one dance move at a time! TONIGHT, FRIDAY, August 1st at 9:30pm, we celebrate one year of terrorizing and tantalizing the hetero bourgeoisie with a DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION at HAVE A NICE DAY CAFE! Have A Nice Day Cafe is located at 1103 N. Old World 3rd Street in downtown Milwaukee.

After we have torn up the dance floor at our takeover, the booty shaking continues at Milwaukee's premier gay dance club, La Cage! We're partying and dancing all night long and our members get free admission and a free shot with their takeover sticker!

The biggest gay party of 2008 is TONIGHT. Do you have your MGGB t-shirts yet? Be a real part of the revolution, and come to the anniversary takeover and the HUGE after-party in your MGGB shirt, cap, or other gear!

After we stormed the "Have A Nice Day Cafe", La Cage, Milwaukee's premier LGBT dance bar, rolled out the red carpet for us! They gave takeover attendees free admission, a free shot, and gave us announcements throughout the n ight welcoming us for our 1st anniversary party. At closing time, the party moved downstairs where we held a raffle for prizes donated by La Cage. It was a great event!
