Milwaukee's 1995 pride celebration repeated the successful 1994 event, with the rally being held in Veterans Park featuring exhibits, three stages, a few dozen craftspeople and vendors, and a full two days of activities. But PrideFest 1995 added of the "Light Up the Sky with Pride" pyrotechnic (fireworks) show-- the first Pride event in the nation to host its own fireworks display.
