Mainstream News Coverage in the History of the LGBT Community in Wisconsin

Mainstream television news coverage of LGBT issues in Wisconsin were primarily negative or negative-leaning for many years, with "special report" titles such as "Flirting with Danger" appearing as recently as 1991. This began to change as events such as Pride celebrations became more common. We shopw below just a few examples of news segments presented by Milwaukee based TV channels in the 1980s and 1990s.
