The former 'Mad Hatter' bar reopened in July 1997 as OZ, with an ad reading "David and Kevin would like you to join them in their new venture, and to watch for the upcoming changes". In 2022 the bar's Facebook page read "We are a warm and friendly bar. Most people know each other. You will always be greeted with a warm welcome and a friend to sit next to.".

In April 2022 contributor Joshua Sukkert visited the bar and took photos (see below). Obviously the bar survived the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to operate as Wausau's LGBT bar.
