This bar was opened in the building that had previously been the site of Fannie's, a long-time popular lesbian bar (1983-2000) owned and run by Sharon Dixon. After the problems associated with 'Fannies', Sharon first reopened the tavern as Pulse (2002-2004).

According to some reports, the location then briefly held a 'straight' rap bar.

Trying once more to regain the bar's former popularity within the LGBT community, Sharon opened the location's doors once more in July-August 2008 as "Club 200 East". That name didn't last long though, as on the stroke of midnight New Years Eve 2007/ New Years Day 2008, the bar was renamed "Jack".

This final reincarnation didn't last long; it quietly closed around June 2010 (last listed in Quest v17-10).

    June 2008-December 2008 "Club 200 East"
    January 2009-June 2010 "Jack")

We will be researching the dates this bar was listed in the media bar Guides to try to narrow the timeline.

Any additional information is available from anyone willing to contribute it.
