'Conversations' NiteClub/ bar first appears in LGBT media bar listings in the April, 2004 issue of OutBound magazine (v3-04). Based on limited advertising, almost no mention in articles or other LGBT media mentions, and its address, our best guess is that it primarily catered to the Black LGBTQ population.

The last listing for 'Conversations' as a bar in LGBT media at the 3515 W. Vliet address was in OutBound magazine v5-05 (May 2006),

However, an advertisement for PrideFest 2007 does advertise an Afterparty "Sponsored by Conversations and Jamie's Theatre Club" at 3945 N. 35th St., with the note "Come and see us at this NEW special event location". There are also various advertisements and mentions in 2007 relating to Black Gay Pride celebrations, citing 'Conversations' as a sponsor, oftyen saying "Tickets available at" Conversations. BUT no actual street address or location is ever listed in 2007 for 'Conversations'. There is no indication in contemporary LGBT media that the "Conversations" Night Club still existed other than in name.
