A Milwaukee native, Matt Julien Hogans is the founder and executive director of Project Black, an initiative of Black Pride Milwaukee, Inc. dedicated to empowering the Black LGBTQ community; Matt leads Project Black with a mission to cultivate safe spaces, foster community solidarity, and provide essential resources for education and behavioral health.
With a deep passion for educating the community about entrepreneurship and financial literacy, Matt works tirelessly to create programs that uplift and empower individuals economically. He believes that financial empowerment is a critical component of social justice and community development. Through Project Black, Matt aims to break down barriers and provide the tools and knowledge necessary for community members to thrive both personally and professionally.
