Off The Tracks bar was opened late in November 2001. It replaced the previous Lesbian bar at this location, Station 2, which had closed ten months earlier.

We have no information about whether this bar was opened by new owners, or what the circumstances were. The advertising budget appears to have been low, as we have thus far located only a single paid advertisement in LGBT periodicals. Management did however make sure that daily specials were frequently listed in 'In Step' magazine's "Daily Events' column.

The bar was short-lived however, having its last night on December 31, 2002 (a New Year's Eve party).

More information about this business is welcomed from anyone who can contribute it.
